Our Receptionists

Sarah Powell -- started working at Sequoyah Animal Hospital as a receptionist in June of 2008.  She is currently attending Chattanooga State full time and majoring in nursing. She has been in a relationship with Josh for two and a half years, and between the two of them they have five dogs - Clyde the Basset, Sped the Mutt, Stump the Mutt as well, Sassy the Boston Terrier mix, and Poncho the German Shorthaired Pointer.  She also has 2 cats - Izzy and Callie. Her newest edition is Miss Piggy, the guinea pig. When she started here at Sequoyah, she only had Clyde, but since then, the rest of us have discovered the sign on her forehead that says "Sucker".  Anytime we have a sick animal or stray, we call on Sarah to take it home with her.  When we had two kittens dropped off and we couldn't find them homes, we called on Sarah - hence she now has Izzy and Callie. 

Beverly Poteet --  Became a Receptionist here at Sequoyah Animal Hospital in June of 2009. She has three children, Haleigh - 15, Becca - 12, and Sammy - 7. Her and her husband, Richard, have been married for 16 years. She spends her time with her family, taking her kids to and from practices, whether is be soccer, softball, or choir, and as the Children's Director at Church. They also have four other "kids": Reece, the chocolate lab, Trisket, the Maltese, and the cats, Miss Kitty and Pickles.
